Our Honeymoon
For our honeymoon we will be visiting Kenya for two weeks. The first week takes in an extensive safari where we hope to see 'the big five' by road and by air when we take an early morning balloon flight! The second week will be spent relaxing at a resort on the east coast called The Cove. We are booked into one of six tree houses!

Sunday 10th June
Depart London Heathrow 19.00hrs
Monday 11 June
Arrive Nairobi 06.30hrs
Transfer to Nairobi Serena Hotel
Day of leisure
Tuesday 12 June
Travel to the Samburu National Reserve (360km)
A late afternoon game drive
Stay at Samburu Serena Safari Lodge
Wednesday 13 June
Remain in the nature reserve for early morning and late afternoon game drives.
Thursday 14 June
Depart Samburu Serena Lodge and travel to slopes of Mount Kenya (240km).
Check in to Serena Mountain Lodge and spend the afternoon viewing game from the lodge or join a nature walk led by a local guide.
Friday 15 June
Travel to Lake Nakuru (240km).
Check in to Lake Nakuru Lodge which has spectacular views of the lake and its vast colony of flamingos.
An afternoon game drive.
Saturday 16 June
Depart Lake Nakuru Lodge and decend to the floor of the Great Rift Valley and into the Masai Mara (370km).
Late afternoon game drive.
Stay at Mara Serena Safari Lodge.
Sunday 17 June
Take an early morning balloon flight over the Mara including a bubbly bush breakfast!
An afternoon game drive
Monday 18 June
Depart Mara Serena Lodge.
Return to Nairobi (360km)
Depart Nairobi 17.30hrs
Arrive Mombassa 18.30hrs

Transfer back to Mombassa for return flight to the UK via Nairobi.
